Lisa Braathen holds an MFA in Music for Motion Pictures and Contemporary Media from Film Scoring Academy of Europe, (listed as #11 in the Hollywood Reporter’s “World Top 20 Music Schools”), where she was the 2022/2023 recipient of the Mychael Danna Scholarship. She also holds a BA in Composition and Music Performance from The Grieg Academy.
Her journey as a composer started by improvising and composing by the piano in early childhood, and she has since developed a passionate love for both orchestral and electronic music composition for film and visual media.
